Have any of you even been so involved in something you have lost all sense of time??

It happened to me last night. I was writing a story, and then at one point I looked up, and the sun was rising. It only hit me then that it was five to five in the morning, and I hadn't gone to bed yet. I had been so involved in my story, so involved in writing it

How cool! That's the best kind of story, isn't it, though, when it involves your attention so completely that the real world falls away?

I love writing, so so so so much - like now, for instance, I should really be studying for my HSC exams in two weeks, but I'm like... nah, I think I'll work on that fic, and check my LJ... :P Did you finish the story?

Haha...I'm a procrastination whore :P And no, I've only just started the story, which is probably why I got so involved- I didn't want to forget anything!

Oh, yeah... sometimes, when I first get an idea that really inspires me, I kind of start thinking four or five sentences ahead of my ability to type, and I'm hunched over the keyboard, irrationally anxious and completely mental with manic concentration so I don't lose the rhythm of my ideas (or something)... anyway.

My point: good luck with the story =)
