OMG!

They banned Vegemite in the USA!

Practically no-one outside of Australia actually likes the stuff, but what about all the Australians living in the US??

That's so un-Australian!!

That's why it didn't happen in Australia, I guess...

Apparently it contains something that is only allowed in breads in the US...so stupid, considering we've eaten it our whole lives!!

Gee... I dunno whether to laugh or whatever. I haven't actually ate Vegemite in nine years. Can't remember what it tastes like. A little too salty, I think...

But wow. I thought the Yanks would be intrigued by this. Next thing you know, they're gonna ban uggies, cos it's only contained on sheep over there.

There's definitely a jar of vegemite in my pantry right now. I haven't had any since I left Australia, but GODDAMN, this makes me want to re-develop my taste for it.
