i should know better about things, but it seems this is a lesson that i feel i need to keep repeating to myself over and over. i haven't been on my computer in a while, and some of the bugs have finally been worked out of my system. i'm sure He'll know exactly what to do. Have you considered a new YIM account. Let your friends know the new one and not the ex or anyone that he could possibly know? Then never ever again open that old one?

That jerk is just looking for forgiveness to ease his quilt. He wants you to say, "Oh, I understand you now and can forgive you" with that e-mail of his. But after that YIM, what the hell does he expect?

I agree with the other comment, get a new account, think of a name that he won't figure out and DON'T share it with any sort of mutual friends. I've had to do this myself in the past. It works.
