Hey, this is my first post to the community (eh, I just joined last night, so . . .), and I figured I'd go ahead and post a handful of quick sketches I drew at various points while working on research papers.

It's kind of hard to work out Shou's height since the only referent I have is the soccer ball, and I was sort of thinking, "Okay, so the ball comes about one-third of the way up Mizuno's shin whereas it comes about half of the way up Shou's. Would that be around the right proportion? Only even then, the proportion of his legs to the rest of his body seems a little too great for someone of his stature. Crap."

Yeah, I'll be sure to keep a sharper eye on Shou's height from now on. *sheepish grin* Glad you like the Mizuno pic. :)

Hahaha, don't sweat it. ^^ It really IS hard to keep character's heights in check when you don't have much of a reference. That's why I don't DO full-body pics, haha.

I really hope to see more pics from you. XP

Your sketches are awesome! ^^ You have a lot of skill. I really liked how you drew Oyassan for some reason, and I love how Mizuno turned out. The folds on the clothing and the delicate details of the hair is really amazing!

I really like your sketches, they have great shading so it looks more 3D-ish. :/ However, I'm a little irked on Shou's left leg, looks too angled. :/ It may just be me though.

Love your work even so! (Love how Mizuno turned out)

Yeah, it's a bit off--like I said, these were hasty crapsketches to relieve stress.

Glad you like them, though. :)
