Sam was just getting used to having amazing food dropped in front of him twice a day and Dean had been starting to collect these awesome recipes, ... and now Sam is sort of looking at Dean in a worried and woebegone way when he finds dinner is peanut butter cups and beerSo much love there. Likewise, Castiel's recovery from Buffy-heaven beatitudes (if that's the word I want) to reality-based impatience and pissiness: a portrait that reflects the artist. And yes, I adored that first Sam/Dean/Castiel scene in 8x22, and kept making sadfaces at the screen for the rest of the episode for never giving us more. :(
