While at work, when I got home, I learned that a certain little buddy of mine had hopped up onto the coffee table next to an oil candle and gone up in flames

Yep, apparently he was completely unaware he was on fire. Silly cat. My mother apparently had to beat him out, since his entire right side was in flames.

omg! that's horrible! poor kitty! just out of curiosity, why would you leave a burning candle/lamp when not at home? not safe my dear, not safe!! i'm glad he's ok though...

Yep. He looks so sad. He's skinny on one side and looks fat on the other, plus he has no whiskers.
