Since moving off the base, I'm already starting to feel better. All those soldiers, they're crazy. How they can put their lives on the line just because someone with a fancier uniform told them to? Well, since Orgun decided not to fight against humans anymore, they haven't really needed me.

I think this is for the best.

Don't straw man our argument. Do you think that's why we fight?

I know a lot of the elite troops of the EDF. Some of you are idealists who really are trying to change the world for the better, and I can respect that. But some of you are in it because you were forced in, or because you get a good paycheck, or because you just like fighting and killing.

I never wanted to be part of this damn war, and now it looks like I'm able to take a step back from it.

Good. While I think no one should have to fight, I'm afraid that isn't a liberty we can always take, but there are some people who just don't belong out there.
