I understand the problem of not really having anybody to talk to. At college there were friends that were right there or a signifigant other. Now, that I've been home and inadvertently lost touch with all of my friends from high school, I'm left with my family or people from work for the most part... neither of which I feel I can just tell anything to. I love my family, but there are just things that I don't want to discuss with them, as odd as that may or may not sound.

I love the metaphor. Yes, it's on the gross side, but sometimes getting something out verbally can be just as hard as getting to the point of "external swirling reality". hehe
