"Push Mrs. Serenity!" one of her dearest friend and the doctor kept insisting at the same time. Ami’s short blue hair just peeked out from under her surgeon's cap as she worked alongside the obstetrician. Ami's bright blue eyes continued to watch for any signs of problems as she advised the obstetrician and Serenity. All of her loved ones were there as she cried in pain, her plump belly holding the newest star to be born to the universe. She was gripping onto her husband's hand in a vice grip with one hand and the hands of her friends were everywhere.
Her other hand was clutching onto Haruka's hand as she was the only other one who would be able to withstand the grip. Michiru was wiping her brow with a damp towel and Rei has her hands on Serenity's shoulders. Makoto was beside Endymion and trying reassure him the curses coming from Serenity's mouth were not true. Although it was clear Makoto wondered where the young woman heard such words. Hotaru and Setsuna were beside Ami ready to assist in any way. Minako was gently stroking Serenity’s hair. Luna and Artemis were even in their human forms to help. Even her parents, Ikuko an Kenji were there. Usually so many weren’t allowed to be in the delivery room, actually, never had so many been allowed. But they girls insisted and Serenity didn’t want it any other way, scared to be away from any of them at this moment.
"Endymion h-how could you do this to meeeeee!" Serenity screamed as she gripped even tighter to Endymion’s hand. He winced but continued to smile through the pain.
"Just one more push Mrs. Serenity, you’re almost there!"
"Endymion you bastard!"
"That’s it, good, almost there!"
"You can do it Serenity!" she heard one of the girls exclaim, maybe all the girls did.
After several more screams and pushes later the sound of a child sobbing could be heard and Serenity fell back against the pillows covered in a layer of sweat. Her long silver tresses were messy and tangled. She gave a soft sob of joy as she heard the cries of her daughter, they all knew the gender after all.
"Cutting the umbilical cord."
"I-Is she alright? Ami is Small Lady alright?" Serenity tried to see over her little mound of a tummy and see her precious baby, her throat was raw and slowly she let go of both Haruka and Endymion’s hands.
After several reassurances and what felt like hours a clean red little bundle was put in Serenity’s arms. Deep tired blue locked with the sweet pink face of her baby and Serenity was more in love than she had ever been as she held her baby to her chest.
"My Small Lady. My precious little girl," she whispered as she pressed her forehead to the baby’s. She felt a kiss pressed to her temple and exclamations of joy and excitement from all the girls and her family but that was lost to her as she just held her daughter and kissed her little face again and again.
She could feel the warmth in her chest. The warmth that gave her strength and hope and the will to never give up on anyone. Serenity would never give up, not with this precious, amazing, little bundle in her arms.
"My Small Lady," she smiled, glowing like the mother she had just become. "Welcome to the world, there’s so much you will do my sweet little girl." Finally she looked up and smiled at everyone. They all had waited patiently for Serenity to pull her attention away from her baby. "Everyone, meet Usagi Small Lady Serenity,” she gave a tired smile as she gently held Small Lady’s hand, tiny little fingers curled around hers. Her baby was fast asleep, as tired as her mother. However, Serenity soldiered on so this could be said, "Small Lady, meet your family. We’ve been waiting for you my little love."

[Serenity's eyes slowly opened, a tear rolling silently down her cheek as she gazed at her ceiling. But her chest felt like it was glowing, a smile of a mother was on her lips. Her crystal was glowing brightly in tandem with her dream and her heart.]
