[Translation] Lyrics: 「ordinary」
This is a song from the new News album. It never really occurred to me that it was Nishikido's song, but when I heard the words I thought I wanted to translate it, so here we are.

taikutsu na kyou ni iro wo kuwaete yuuutsu na asu ni mahou wo kakete
[These things] add color into the tediousness of today, performing magic on the depressing prospect of tomorrow[2];

Its okay if only you to hear it, if its okay if it only resonates with you.
Notes:
[1]This is a traffic jam caused by construction. It implies that he is in the car during this song.
[2]These phrases are sort of difficult to translate, since they apply adjectives to "today" and "tomorrow," which is something we don't do in English. Also, its implied that the small happinesses of murmured words or warm hand holding bring color into the mundanity of everyday life. Like that movie, Pleasantville, only with Nishikido Ryo instead of Toby MacGuire. No loss there.
[3]Red lights = red traffic lights, most likely.
[4]Untwisted words = words said without some sort of hidden purpose
