More variety than York had, at any rate. And it wasn't like he's had much time to go out and about recently, either. A duststorm kicked up in the city, pretty much limiting him to either staying at home or in the Nexus. Weather. It sucks.

"Gotta get here early," he mutters to himself as he heads through the door. "Maybe she'll be impressed or something!" He sticks his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt (a New York Mets one for irony's sake) and looks around.

Weather just sucked period, stupid weather.

Oh, hey, new person. She blinked a bit, figuring that perhaps she may as well try. Soo he gets a hand wave to motion him over there. Not many other people were here today, they probably had better things to do on a sunday. Not that she did, but still.

York waved back before hurrying over to plop down in an empty chair. "Yyyo," he said mildly. "You're Danni, right? I'm York. Glad to meet you!" He grinned goofily before looking around for a waitress or something.

"Sorry I'm late! Er, if I am late, that is. Am I early? I'm not sure. My, uh, watch broke and... I haven't gotten it fixed yet." In other words? He lost track of time. York-speak's easy to understand.

Wow, he was a bit of a dork, wasn't he? Though she can't help but grin a bit. "Hey." A pause, ah, yes. "Mhmm. That's right. Nice to meet you too, York." The waitress right now was dealing with another table.

"You're a little earlier, no big deal." A small shrug, time wasn't a too big of a deal really. She's been around enough things like this to know.
