Personhood of Children Act
I don't know if anyone else had been following this story, but it's absolutely fascinating to me.
Essentially, North Dakota just passed the "Personhood of Children Act" which gives any fertilized human zygote the rights of a human being.

It can't do anything. Fair enough, it is human (we can all hope anyway...), but giving it rights? What rights would it even NEED? There isn't even a POINT to giving it human rights.
If you can tell me what point there is behind that being passed, I will give you a shiny $1.
