After a long time working on these; I decided to post the first four character bios for LCH, as a teaser, if nothing else. :P
Anyway, these are two characters you've already seen and two that haven't shown up, yet; written in the form of Schue's files for The Mechanic
From the files of Detective William Schuester
Codename: Duckgirl
Real Name: Brittany *classified*
Originally a member of detective Sue Sylvester’s Cheerios squad, she joined New Directions along with High Princess and Black Rose. Detective William Schuester let them in promptly, originally giving the gesture little to no thought.
After the High Princess’s defection from the Cheerios, both Duckgirl and Black Rose doubled as spies for detective Sylvester, getting her (mostly true) patrol schedules and other key information that allowed the detective to leak said data to criminal group The Booty Bandits, which allowed them to dodge both the Lima City Police Department and New Directions for almost a month before being captured by ND members Dragon Dancer, Proud Lion and recently reformed Black Rose and Duckgirl.
Both girls are now double agents for New Directions and the Cheerios.
Powers: None, highly trained athlete whose costume offers limited protection and higher flexibility.
Weaknesses: Limited protection.
Specialties: Stealth
Codename: Dragon Dancer
Real Name: Mike Chang
Before Grand Diviner’s addition, Dragon Dancer was one of the last members to join New Directions, along with Cougar Hunter and Proud Lion. Originally discovered by Officer Ken Tanaka; the three were part of his junior volunteers, a scouts-like project for young men aspiring to be police officers, until they discovered their respective powers while accompanying Tanaka in a routine patrol. However, Wheels’ studies say his powers may have activated before that; must investigate.
Has always been a good friend of the Cheerios girls and, while quiet, expresses a special interest in training and usually helps the other members of New Directions with their own training routines. Can’t live without music, will usually base his own exercise routines on whatever song he’s listening to.
Powers: Dragon tattoo on back allows him superhuman physical feats and extensive knowledge of martial arts.
Weaknesses: Quiet; tends to get too emotionally involved.
Specialties: Infiltration, rescue.
Codename: Frankenteen
Real Name: Finn Hudson
He is the result of the second generation T.S. Suit project. Father died when Finn was very young and mother raised him by himself; detective Schuester saw some potential in the youth and offered him a position in New Directions. Initially reticent, he rejected the experiments with the mechanized suit until his own powers surfaced. Originally in a relationship with then-Head Cheerio, High Princess; their relationship soured after Fankenteen discovered his powers and he rebounded with ND diva, Starlet (said drama won’t be discussed in these files).
Has only been in New Directions for a year and is barely getting used to his powers but shows great potential and has proven to be the ideal candidate for the T.S. Suit.
Powers: Able to generate an electrical current through his body; mechanical suit equipped with several firearms.
Weaknesses: Indecisive, tends to bottle up his feelings and lashes out after some time.
Specialty: One-man army, purely offensive missions.
Codename: Starlet
Real name: Rachel Berry
One of the only two members of the Defenders to stay in New Directions; had gone into hiding after they disbanded but actually contacted detective Schuester first when she found out about New Directions. Has always been pushing her teammates to the breaking points (and sometimes beyond them) for her ideals of what New Directions should be; fortunately, she has become less and less self-centered after being called out on it by fellow members, her honest nature getting some of the kids to seek her advice.
She prefers to team-up with Frankenteen since teammates are still wary of her, especially Black Rose and Duckgirl; hopefully, she will win them over by the time the T.S Suit needs repairs.
Powers: Able to project illusions, regularly chooses gold stars to confuse opponents; has basic self-defense knowledge.
Weaknesses: Self-centered but still good natured; physically and emotionally fragile.
Specialty: Stealth, diversion tactics. Note: place as support
***
Edit Note: You get four since the plan was to post two bios along each episode; so we'd get all the teenage cast by episode 6: Adrenaline but I missed it the first time around.
PS: internet cookie to whoever gets all the comic book references.
