What USB cable does your phone and/or tablet require for charging?

I'm looking to outfit my car with a good selection.

Micro USB or mini USB. Can't remember at the moment.

My iPad uses a lightning cable but my iPod is old school and uses the old style cable.

Thanks, I do need more lightning cables because a lot of my friends use iOS devices. My car has two power ports, and I just got two dual 2.4amp USB port chargers, and my RX-8 only has four seats, so that part should be good. I just need a stock of cables.

(The charger I got is the Aukey 4.8A Dual USB Car Charger. Tiny thing.)

With the exception of my portable headphone amp, everything I use these days is micro usb. This accounts for 3 tablets, 2 phones, bluetooth headset, and handful of other devices. The headphone amp, annoyingly, uses mini, for some inexplicable reason.

Thanks, that's largely been my understanding, but all I have are Apple iOS devices, and the majority of my friends around here are also of that ilk.
