so today i was walking and i realized that, with a bit of embellishment, some events from the past year of my life would make a pretty decent two hour film. and you all know how i feel about films of such length: if it can't be said in 90 minutes, it shouldn't be said at all. but this story is so fucking sexy it hurts. and i don't do sexy film ( Read more... )

the only things ive seen since i left are brokeback mountain and munich. if i didnt have to go watch breathless id be on my way to see the wayward cloud right now. alas.

I am glad you are taking the approach of making a "film about a life" rather than a "film about life". Who needs that?

And then I think, the only films we can ever really make are about our lives. But we don't, why is that?
