P.s If the tub is anything like mine we have a hot air duct not sealed properly so the hot air heats up the tub.
My cat loves the tub in winter and loves being warmly bathed

Peggy gets into the tub after we've showered or taken a bath, if possible while there's still a puddle in it, so it's cooler in summer and warm/hot in winter.
