Having been recently disinvited from my parents' house, I am trying to find some other option for housing. My in-laws might have space for me, and being near them would have certain advantages, but I also would like to be near my friends, the largest concentration of which are in California. So, my question to you all is this: Who could use a

Lol... I could totally use a housewife, my schedule leaves very little time for cooking (which is sad, because I enjoy cooking). Unfortunately, both bedrooms in my apartment are taken, so I could only offer space on the futon for a couple days (experience has shown that it quickly becomes cramped to have more than two people around).

Sure. I have a few extra bedrooms in my house! :) Extra cleaning and cooking is ALWAYS appreciated. :) So, when can you move to North Dakota? Haha.

Hey girl. I have space if you don't mind that you would not get your own room and I have two cats that love to cuddle and I'm in San Diego, the opposite end of CA for most of your friends probably. I have a pull out couch with an actual mattress or the couch itself is really comfortable.

I'll def. keep that in mind. San Diego is far enough away that my parents can't accuse me of going out of my way not to see them, and close enough I can see them if I really want to. Plus I bet they have a VA hospital/processing center down there. Since I consider you my friend, that means my friends' locations in CA are pretty much up and down the entire state! I am not allergic to cats, and it has been ages since I was allowed a pet :)

LOL Sounds good hon. Yes, there is a VA hospital down here. I'm not exactly sure where it is but I have friends that work there. ;-)

MD is where I was looking at moving to be closer to my in-laws, but then I realized that living with one of them over the other would risk offending both.
