Elizabeth stifled a smile at the pained look on Peter’s face as he rang the bell. There was mistletoe over the front door. And as wide as the door was, there was no way to avoid passing under the plastic leaves. Everyone attending June’s Christmas party would receive the traditional greeting. She just hoped Mozzie didn’t open the door. Not that El would mind, she was quite fond of Neal’s friend, Peter, on the other hand. The door swung open, revealing Neal and June’s grand-daughter Samantha on the other side. El gave a mental sigh of relief. She and Neal would share a brief kiss, and Peter would give Sam an even briefer kiss to her cheek... Her mind blanked as Neal kissed her husband. It was short and clean, but while it lasted, it was quite possibly the hottest thing she’d seen in a long time. El kissed Sam’s cheek and wondered if it was too late to add some mistletoe to her own front door.
