It's not so much as they're making me go...I kinda want to go, it's just that I want to go with someone who wants to go with me for the sake of going with me.

And she will persist even if I say "no, I'm not going."

doesn't matter how persistent
if someone is pressuring you, you can always, always put your foot down and say no
obviously this isn't a case wherein you really need to, but you can always refuse
and if someone thinks you're too stubborn, that's too bad for them
