Summary: She was lost and crazy.
She liked the wilderness on most occasions. In fact, she thought it was beautiful. Well, normally anyways. When she was lost in its mass of greens and browns, well that was when she hated it. It was too wild when that happened, which wasn’t often. Actually, this was the first time she got lost so this was the first time she hated it. Well almost, there were the few times when they’d run across demon plant life but that was it. That was the only time she’d hated it. Well, then and now.
Kagome groaned. She hated it because it was confusing, it messed with her head and it made her wonder if she was going in circles. Sesshomaru didn’t follow her around. He hated her, right?
No, she mumbled to herself, it’s messing with my head now. I’m definitely going crazy. Might as well give up now before you become one of those hairy people on the street corners wearing tinfoil hats and shouting about the world ending. Maybe the world is ending though. I’ve probably changed so many events by telling people how to avoid making stupid mistakes that are remembered in history. Yay, paradoxes.
She was definitely going crazy. Wildly Crazy Kagome was her new name now. Or, it should be her new name. That was it, when she returned to the future she was going to change her name, wear tinfoil on her head and claim that a deformed rat she would find eating trash would save the earth.
But before then, she was going to scream at Sesshomaru. Maybe not though, he was scary. He could easily kill her and then how could she do what she planned to do in the future? She laughed at herself, maybe she was hallucinating. It wouldn’t be surprising, after all, she was going crazy. Or maybe she was crazy already.
“Miko, why do walk in circles?”
“‘Cause I’m lost. Can’t you tell?”
She stopped to look Sesshomaru straight in the eye. She probably wasn’t intimidating but hey, she was trying her hardest. Sesshomaru was not an easy scare.
“That way will lead you to my half-brother. Do not stray from the path, you’ve wasted enough of my time as it is.”
She didn’t even say thanks! She must’ve been going nuts. That or she was just desperate to see the two-timing hanyou, the easily-embarrassed taija, the parentless kitsune and the perverted monk. Either way, she was crazy.
