The weekend of my discontent

This weekend was supposed to be great. I was to head out for two days in Madrid, I had all sorts of plans, but unforutnately the weather tore through all of those like a rock through a soggy paper bag. My plane left Dusseldorf about 40 minutes late. With a tight 1 hour connection, it was going to be tough to make it though from my tickets it

That SUCKS. I can only imagine your rage. It is a miracle you didn't beat that desk clerk to death.

My attendance in computerland has been spotty lately - sick days, then more sick days, then road trip - but I'm finally caught up with LJ and I'm loving your updates! Keep 'em coming.

Also, I finally got to hang out with Laneri and hear some Amsterdam stories firsthand. My favorite line was when those racists were trying to ply you with alcohol and they said to her, "No offense, but I just assumed you were a socialist squatter."
