At different moments, you see with different eyes. You see differently in the morning than you do in the evening ( Read more... )

Who is the artist you quoted at the beginning of your entry, my friend? And I think your moral is quite good. Argus Filch is disconcerting. And I will not be going to Spain, so shall I visit you many times and possibly more than enough? I could wear my tie-dyed robes, which I have not had occasion to wear all year and feel rather deprived about...

Edvard Munch. And yeah, he really, really is. I used to feel badly for him, though. Maybe I still do. I'm not sure.

You had better visit me if you won't be in Spain! And wear them - I'll have to find something equally festive, though. Well, maybe not. I'm not all that festive, but change is good. I can find a tie-dyed skirt, or something.

A blouse would be lovely, I think. Something red and blue and yellow. With purple.

Edvard Much? I do not think I am familar with him. I will find something of his, so that I might tell you whether he is great or not.

Visit you, I will. I promise. Shall I do it so that you have more than enough, or just enough, of me?

I'll have to find one. You can come look with me.

He's a Muggle artist, but famous enough that I know about him. I think you should find The Scream easily enough, as for works of his.

I don't think that anyone could ever have more than enough of Wayne Hopkins. Visit me as much as you want (meaning: more than enough, of course).

Oh that was very nice of you, to pick up the bottle, even if Mr. Filch was horrid about it. The beach should be lovely...I've wanted to see more plays, but it's been difficult to pay for to find the time - or it was over Winter Hols, anyway.

I like to think that I'm a giver (bad joke). Are you going to go this summer? I used to not like it as much, when I was younger. I forget why, though.

I love going to plays. My parents like them even more, and they always have a fair amount of tickets (somehow, they might be friends with the owner of the theatre we go to or something; I don't know), so if I happen to have any extra at some point (which I should), I'll send one to you and you'll just have to make the time, Miss Hannah. After all, it's summer, you should be able to find some.

Well, you remember my mother moved the family there after Papa died last summer? So we're staying in this lovely little cottage type...building.

Oh that would be just lovely - the play, I mean. Really, you're too kind.

I remember now. I'm sorry, Hannah, I wasn't thinking.

It's nothing, really. I'll owl you.

Very long entries tend to make more sense in the morning. Either that, or they make no sense at all. I think you did well, though.

Mine might have been a little nonsensical, but I'm glad you weren't completely confused. Brava, me.

That was really nice, Audrey. And that quote is just so true. Thanks for sharing it...

Thanks, Lavender. And you're welcome, I'm glad that it meant something to someone else, really.

That was sort of.. depressing, or something. Maybe not, maybe it was just realistic. You're good at that kind of thing. I mean, writing it. I really liked the quote too.
But, I think that we'll see a lot of each other this summer. Or, at least, we should, because it's not hard to travel with Floo and everything, and.. well, I won't have anything better to do. And you can meet my cousins! They're cute.. or, well, I guess they are, but they're my cousins and that's weird. But.. yeah.
There are just so many possibilities. Maybe everyone just says that they'll see everyone else because at this point, anything is possible.
Maybe you already said that. I'm getting confused and sort of tired.

Thanks, Claire. I'm sure Edvard Munch would thank you, too, but he's dead.

Oh, I think I'll see a lot of you. I meant how about ten people make that promise, but it ends up being three. You know? I had better see a lot of you. I like Marks(es?), so meeting your cousins would be good. Or whatever we end up doing. I'd say you could meet mine, but, well. I might as well just say "ha" and get that thought over with.

I didn't already say that. And I'm glad you wrote it. It was a lot nicer than anything that I ever think. Just really hopeful and sweet, if a little idealistic (not for you to theorise, but you know), and well. I just really liked reading it.

I do know what you mean. And you're right, I don't think we really count as the people that do that.

Thanks, though.. I don't know, it is idealistic. But there are a lot of people that I want to see, even if I won't be able to.
