Themes and Metaphors in TV and Roleplaying

Dec 02, 2009 15:00

Just when I thought I'd never watch Heroes again after the major fiasco that was the end of Season 2, something in me decides it's about time I gave it another chance. Partially because I've ran out of new things of a supernatural style to watch with Forge, partially because I have fond memories of Season 1 and I wish it could be the same again.

My thoughts on Season 3, Episode 1 )

tv, awakening, world of darkness, metaphors, roleplaying, dead like me, lost, requiem, dresdon files, heroes

Yeah I know. I got it for Michael for his birthday. I was just thinking that I actually love the WoD system and also I don't want to go to something exactly like Supernatural, just simular. I couldn't do Supernatural justice.

Big LOL at the avatar.

Hee! hils makes tons of Supernatural icons :)

I was in a WoD Hunter's Hunted game for a while. Was lots and lots of fun, though I found Hunter: The Vigil to be a little broken.

This is a cliche for talking about Changeling, but have you seen Neverwhere?

You should. Everyone should. The effects are bad. The cinematography is awful. The cow is... beyond words.

But the scripting is fun and the concept is great and it has such amazing characters.
