How can you say you are such a strong catholic but still be gay thats like a slap in the face.... I find it funny how when someone brings up in the bible it says being gay is a sin they bring up something else they just cant deal with it... Like you said about not wearing two kinds of cloth.... You act like that that makes what your doing ok... I dont wanna start a problem but it makes me mad when people act like being gay isnt a sin and isnt wrong.

Gay marriage is like abortion ethier you believe in it or you dont.. No one is gonna change there opinion but I feel if you are strongly relgious you would be against it.

Abortion is killing an innocent child, gay marriage is a union between 2 people who happen to be of the same sex.

I am Catholic. I believe in God. I believe in the Bible. I am not gay. But I do believe that homosexuals should have the rights and the benefits of marriage.

The Bible was written thousands of years ago. Things have changed and we live in a country based on freedom. Honestly, the Bible should have absolutely, positively nothing to do with the issue of gay marriage, but it does, so there goes all of our basis of freedom for ya.

Basically, people are scared of what they don't understand or know.

Love is love, who are we to define it.

i agree with the other comment to this: who ARE we to define love?

and besides, being gay is not a sin. ask any priest. in fact, there is a church in hingham, ma with all gay priests. christianity doesn't see homosexuality as a sin, only homosexual acts.

I can define love anyway I choose its my opinion... How many people are gay but dont do gay acts??? I mean really get serious a church with all gay priests is a joke... Like I said there is always something with gay people they cant admit that what they are doing is wrong they always gotta bring something else up.

Like I said gay marriage is like abortions ethier you are for it or you arent its always heated and people always get mad.

As for the ronald reagen comment matt, you are so ignorant of your own hisotry. people around the world know more hten you do about your own country. its disgusting, and you should be embarresed. Matt, you have nbo understanding of anything at all ( ... )

i cant even believe how angry this whole comment made me. "people around the world know more hten you do about your own country. its disgusting, and you should be embarresed. Matt, you have nbo understanding of anything at all. " seriously leave the boy alone. why are you attacking him. maybe his priorities are different from yours, its none of your business and its not your place to judge him. and this one, "Anyone in this country who cannont afford to eat has no one to blame but themselves." come on. i hope you read this and realize how much of a jerk you are. i am sure you think you are so much better than homeless people because you are more determined or whatever. basically you are saying that poor people are just to lazy and its there own fault they are poor. maybe some of them are but that is such a horribly ignorant generalization it makes me sick.

To the person before Tony: gay people don't bring up other wrongs because they're too afraid to admit that they're wrong. I find that ignorant of you to say that, and I'm not even gay ( ... )

This is one of the reasons I don't like o bring up the Bible when we talk about gay marriage. The Bible shouldn't have anything to do with the way this country is governed. But, love is natural, and it is obvious that love between 2 people of the same gender exists. It's healthy, normal, special love. And, homosexual love has existed for all of time. Need I remind you that some of history's greatest minds have been gay or have had homosexual relations? Alexander the Great, Greek Philosophers, many Roman Emperors, Leonardo DaVinci, Napoleon, the Fab Five ( :) ). But anyway, I am willing to repent all my sins and ask for God's forgiveness, I do, in fact. But, I don't repent for being gay, because no one ever did say it was a sin.
