Seems like such a happy place. Love all the photos. Shane has pretty good posture for someone just learning to ride. I'm impressed! I want a dog in the worst way and this entry isn't helping. The riding aspect is awesome too, of course.

Get a great pyrenees, big dogs but great with horses, cows and other live stock :P We've got quite a few dogs here xD

But how are they with running long distances? I need something high energy that can come trail riding with me.

Trust me, they can keep up :P We've had to ride the bikes to walk them because they wouldn't want to go back after 4 miles of walking/running xD They would probably go all day if you let them o_O
It also depends on if you are walking them in heat, they are fluffy and might get really hot (I wouldn't worry about them in cool weather but in our weather up here it can get about 30 degrees Celsius. They just need a place to take a dip in if there's a pond or even a ditch they can lye down in and take a drink lol)
