The Quake, Heat and Sun!!!

With Uni being so busy and the end of the academic year rather scarily upon us, I very rarely get time to post an entry, as you know. However, with disruptions from the earthquake that hit Canterbury on 4th September, the ability to get on with assignments and the like is proving rather diffucult. WOW! The library looks a total mess and I can see why you won't be using it for a while yet....we don't hear any more about the disruption here. As far as we are concerned, the city is all back to normal!

Nice pics...looks very spring like. At least your spring season lasts longer than ours; we really only get about 4 weeks of spring and then it just gets HOT!

There is definitely still a lot of activity happening here - we are still having massive aftershocks, Saturday night being one of the worst so far, with emergency services going into overload with 111 calls. Some of the city is still of limits. It has been estimated that it will take 18months to fix all of the roads and sewer systems.

You can keep the heat! I am enjoying it just as it is at the moment, although a little warmer would be nice so that swimming can happen!
