On over 250 pages, the Japanese gothic culture and its origins in Europe are explained. The contents consist of many reviews of actors, movies, books and music that are relevant to goths' interests. There also is a section describing historical persons, places and myths, i.e. the famous Vlad Tepes, aka Dracula, and lots of other trivia.

While the work is written in Japanese, there are few pictures, mainly covers of books, movies or CDs

My opinion:

When I bought it, I lacked information on it's contents and thought the cover was interesting. However, it turned out not to be a photobook as I expected. The rare, and nonetheless nice pictures included don't really cut it for me because I'm not able to read Japanese. Thus it's fate is to sit on my bookshelf, unread.

The irregular issue number 17 turned out to be related to a row of books called 'TH' TalkingHeads-Series, of which I know very little.
