Today I went to pick up a prescription at the grocery store only to find out that I'm not covered under the health insurance policy my parents have so graciously been paying for. This at least the fourth time that someone in my family has gone to use their health insurance for something only to find out they're not covered even though my parents

I'm on some antibiotics right now that cost $300! I don't have health insurance, but they were covered under some low-income "compassion" plan or something.

But still. $300! It's insaneeee.

i went to the dentist the other day and got 3 cavities filled. (i know its alot but i havent gone to the dentist in like 3 years)
then when i went to pay the 20 dollar copay i found out i wasnt under my parents insurance anymore so now i owe 800 dollars.AWESOME !

That's nuts right? I find it unbelievable that they can't even make a phone call or send a letter to tell the policy owner that someone on their plan isn't covered anymore. It could mean life or death for someone! I hope you're able to pay off your bill!
