Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Seto is tall. Very tall, in fact he is the tallest in the series. He stands at at least 6'2 and is rather thin (office work isn't good for keeping the muscle up ya know~)
2. How old is he? 16 though over the course of the series and into GX he ages up to be 25.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Seto stands tall and proud! He carries himself with so much confidence it could rub off! Course, when he's tired at his desk while working I can see him slouching a little bit.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? None, Seto is in tiptop condition if you don't count the time Yami mind crushed him into a coma.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Seto is very...I want to say graceful. The way he moves and carries himself, the way he runs and even throws punches and kicks. They're fluid and precise, he could be a dancer.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? Haaa, I'm sure Seto knows that he's attractive, I've never thought of how he would look himself in the mirror (aside from straightening his hair). But Hell, he's down right drop dead gorgeous. He has all the looks a young man his age would want, he's tall, handsome, has a build that some people would die for. Really, looking at him, it's easy to fall in love with his looks.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Light, pale motherfucker.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. His hair is brown (green) and isn't really all that short when it comes to length in the back, it at least reaches to his shoulder blades, and his bangs tend to hang in his face. I think this is personified that Seto prefers to hide himself rather then being open like everyone else.
9. What color are his eyes? Blue (yellow), sort of a deep blue too. One that can be pretty icy when he's mad.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? He has a beautiful smile, it's rare, but when he does you can't help but notice.
11. What are his chief tension centers? Haha, I'd say a good lot of his upper body. Not because of the way he carries himself but because of his line of work. Working at a desk as long as he does usually makes people scream "Someone please rub my shoulders!"
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? Seto Kaiba is the trendiest motherfucker around. His clothing range from leathers, to fancy arm buckles, to the most extravagant trench coats I've ever seen a character wear. But he also wears suits for when he has to look professional for work. The most casual I've ever seen him dress is when he's wearing his school uniform, and even then he keeps it buttoned and straight.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? His clothes are formfitting but even then I'd like to think he had them custom made for himself. He is /very/ comfortable in them if he doesn't mind doing his job in them half the time.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? On occasion yes I have seen Seto wear his everyday trench coats and leather to work (he is the owner and he /is/ a kid) but there are other instances where he knows when to be professional and will throw on a suit to keep appearances.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? I want to say boxers, they're more comfortable in the long run and I could see this guy wanting to be comfortable, especially during graveyard shifts.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Seto has a boyish voice that can be somewhat deep or slightly higher depending. If going by the Japanese version anyway.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? Seto can be harsh with his words, confident and commanding. When he's mad he is not afraid to tell off the person that has made him upset or if he's frustrated he'll start yelling at just about anyone. He usually speaks rather evenly overall in that 'holier then thou' way of his.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope! Seto is confident and that's that really.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? Japanese, born and raised in Japan he speaks it just fine! He also knows some Egyptian? But he has to see/hear it to understand it. Though in my headcanon he's well educated to the point where he knows French...
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope, he's pretty content with Japanese.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? He's a fantastic impromptu speaker! He does it for public events that his company holds as well as tournaments, when he's talking to the media, or when he's gone onto one of those 'get your head out of your ass' speeches to one of Yuugi-tachi.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Eloquent. The only really inarticulate thing I've seen him do was gape at Kisara and look at a loss for words there for a bit.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Seto Kaiba is a genius. Since he was little he'd been able to catch onto things much faster then most kids his age, he learned chess, beat the world champ (then became his son), he can hack and build machines. This kid really has it made mentally.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? He's good at thinking on his feet though there are times when a situation will arise and he will need to step back and think of what to do, most of the time he's too proud to even do just that.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Logical when it comes to certain things he's skeptical about. Otherwise, deep down, he has the most introverted and mixed thought process I have ever seen. He hates everything, but he doesn't. He loves kids, but he doesn't. He wants to kill you, but he doesn't. Seriously Seto, make up your mind on what you want to do.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Up to highschool, though it is said in Japan you only need up until middle school to be accepted into college (hard core education), Seto had been transferring from school to school to get rare cards from kids in season 0. In the 2000 series, I think he attended class regularly, it was only shown once and even then he wasn't really doing anything but reading.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? He's a duelist with a knack for kicking almost everyone's ass (goddammit Yuugi), he is also very good with making machines out of just about anything and making them work. Just give him some tools and some scraps, I have a feeling he and Yusei'd be good pals! You know...If...Seto wanted friends.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert. Definitely. So introverted he's gotten comfortable just being /away/ from people.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Most of the time he is rather even-tempered but it is very easy for him to fly off the handle and just start yelling, though he has his moments of calm too. Otherwise he's more driven to do his own thing and just leave everyone else in the dust.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Seto Kaiba hates people by default. When a new person shows up his first instinct is to just ignore them. However if they talk to them he will immediately throw up his egotistical side and just tell them off and walk away.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? Act. If something happens like say...his company being taken over again. His first reaction is to jump up and rush straight for the core of the problem and get rid of it.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Fight. To him running is weakness, give him a challenge and he will go at it until it's nothing but a minor bump in the road.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Seto isn't really known for having much of a sense of humor at all. He'll laugh only when he feels he's in the right place of power, a mocking laughter more then anything. Headcanon says he playfully teases Mokuba when they hang out, it just brings them closer.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? If constantly being haunted by the past is a mental disorder, then he never really does anything about it but try to push it away. After all, what else can you do but move on?
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? Oh there's a lot of things he's done. After getting mindcrushed he opened back up to Mokuba thus making them both happier. When he helped Yami during Battle City. When he went against his own stepbrother to save not just Mokuba but everyone else (Yami ended up getting them out of that mess in the end.) when he rescued Amelda from being eaten by a giant leviathan even though the guy wanted to kill him/take his soul. There's even mention in one of the Yu-Gi-Oh! handbooks that he wants to build the theme parks for underprivileged children as he knows how hard it is for kids to find happiness.
14. What does he fear? I think overall, beside always living in Yami's shadow as second best Duelist in the world, he fears becoming like his stepfather and hurting Mokuba again. After all, he really didn't ask for that lifestyle, he was just trying to find a way to live again, especially for the benefit of his little brother.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations? He /hopes/ to be the number one duelist again someday but in addition to that he wants to accomplish his dreams of creating the Kaibaland parks and expanding them all over the world.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? That way deep down in his heart, there's a big hole, and surrounding that hole there are all these booby traps. At the bottom of that hole he considers Yuugi-tachi to be his friends.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. Seto's Parents canonly are both dead. His mother died in childbirth with Mokuba, and his father died in an accident three years later. Their remaining relatives took their inheritance and then stuffed them in an orphanage. Bitches.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Mokuba. MokubaMokubaMokuba. That child is his reason for living, his one ray of light in his little world of dark loneliness. You take away Mokuba and you get one batshit crazy Seto Kaiba hounding your ass with a metal pipe. Seto promised Mokuba when they were kids that he would be his father from then on. He is forever going to stand by to that promise, even if no one else gets it but those two.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? Not blood relatives, adopted. But they are still his family. His Stepfather Gazaburo Kaiba, was a cold hearted /evil/ man who's ambition was to take over the world and rule it with an iorn fist...okay not even iron, indestructible steel is more like it. He had a stepbrother too, but he died before Seto had the chance to meet him, then came after him later in a VR program to exact revenge. Seto didn't like him very much either.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? In a way Yuugi-tachi are a part of his family, though some of them don't like him they still try to push him in the right direction. He hates them for it.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Mokuba is Seto's best friend. The two are inseparable.
6. Does he have other close friends? Nope. That's about it. Unless you count Amelda, but even then Amelda was like "Well I'm off to Italy now!"
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? He's terrible with people, especially ones his age, absolutely horrid.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Family. Definitely. Mokuba is his everything. Though he will go out of his way to save others.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? Nope. Single and free as a bird. I...honestly think he prefers it that way.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Nope! Headcanon says he's completely asexual.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? No crushes. He just doesn't seem to care enough about that sort of thing. Though...I'm not sure if Kisara counts? I'm sure he finds her attractive but to him she may as well have been a dream.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? I really don't think he wants one.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? Mokuba is like his only son as well as his sibling. Headcanon says he plans to adopt when he feels the time is right. And he wants a daughter.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? PLENTY! The list would be too long here, but Yami is definitely on the top of this list. Junouchi considers Kaiba a rival but Seto sees him as nothing but a spec of dirt.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the
Kinsey scale? Headcanon says he's Bi-sexual. I'm sure the author made him straight. But he never peruses anything of the sort, thus making headcanon draw the conclusion that he is also completely asexual and uninterested in that sort of thing.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? Asexual (headcanon), I'm sure he would agree that sex is important to keep a relationship going, but he really has no drive to place himself into that situation.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? If he weren't completely asexual I could see him wanting to take the dominating role all the time. Turn on's I'd have to say would be light bondage, (hands unable to move, blindfold) as it would give him more of a power rush. Turn off's...I'd have to say too much vocalization during sex. The occasional sound might be fine, but I can't see him being loud during such an activity. I'm sure the only really off un-Kaiba-like habit he'd have is too wrap his arm around the other person while trying to fall asleep.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does he fit type? Seto was born on October 25th (I donno the year...) His astrological sign is Scorpio.
Determined and forceful
Emotional and intuitive
Powerful and passionate
Exciting and magnetic
Sounds about right.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? Seto is the most skeptical person on the planet. But if he did believe in anything I think it would be on a more spiritual level. I don't think he believes in gods and other such deity's.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? He does. It mostly revolves around how he wants to make the world better through gaming, and by proxy for children and his theme parks. He's really a good person, he was just hurt for so long as a child that it really kind of messed him up.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Indifferent. He really doesn't care what other people believe in. They can try and convince him, he might get annoyed and walk away though.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? With the whole 'hate people by default' thing? Headcanon says he finds all people to be absolutely disgusting, just monsters waiting to attack. He's afraid of being hurt again though, so his mindset for that is pretty reasonable.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Seto Kaiba is filthy fucking rich, being the CEO of a big name company does that.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? He's got the highest power in all of Domino City and a lot of status in the dueling world. When Dartz took over his company, it took him a while to get the reputation back up. But he can do anything, he's Seto Kaiba.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? Seto Kaiba lives in a mansion with a huge front yard, nice courtyards, huge rooms, grand staircases. All that stuff. But he only ever really stays up in his office. Headcanon says he has a rose garden that he likes to spend a bit of time in.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? Building giant ass theme parks and machinery to sell for the Duel Monsters cardgame. Though I'm sure a lot of that is budgeted.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? He's a CEO of a big name company, he's fantastic at it, but I can't say he enjoys it all the time. But it's what he has and he has dreams he wants to accomplish. He toughs it out really well if he doesn't like it.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Duel Monsters~ Though he is also a workaholic, headcanon says he knows how to play the Piano.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Seto and food...never once do you see him eating anything in the show. This is all entirely headcanon. I don't see Seto eating too much due to his workaholic habits peanut butter and crackers can cut it for awhile. When he's a bit hungrier, cup ramen. I can see Mokuba having a hard time getting him to eat, but when he does he can eat a good portioned meal. As for drinking, either water or coffeecoffeecoffee. Drinking alcohol, well...in my headcanon, for him is never a good idea. With his lifestyle, if he gets drunk god knows what sort of things would happen. I would say he is a sad drunk...maybe a bit too sad. Keep him away from that stuff.
Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:
1. Color? Silver/Blue/White/Black (I couldn't choose just one)
2. Smell? Roses. ...Or some type of fancy men cologne. IDK man...
3. Time of day? Night. I'm sure he's very much a night owl. Lol work.
4. Season? Winter. Just...Seto and snow. Must be the White.
5. Book? Anything really Shakespearean or highly intellectual. Otherwise maybe he reads to Mokuba?
6. Music? Anything with Piano and Violin Duets.

8. Substance? Hot coffee. (ow)
9. Plant? White Rose~
10. Animal? Lion, not because he's the king of the jungle, because male lions are basically bitchy house cats that just lay around and watch the cubs do their thing. Fuck yeah Lions.
