Thinking about this makes me blush in the morning...

Here are my top 5 names. Let me know yours!

- Kirsten
- Michelle
- Angelique
- Yvette
- Cybille

Top names because
a) They aren't easy to make fun of
b) Some come from memorable characters I've read in books.

Enjoy.

I like names like Joey, Christ, Jamie, etc, names that allow the child to choose his/her gender when s/he grows up.

I like kirsten (but reminds me of someone I knew but didn't like), also like Yvette and Angelique (am probably going to put that as second name to keep it in the family). Michelle is a very common name for ppl of my age so thats out and Cybille makes me think of cybil shepherd....keep them coming!!

Are all these names of people you know???

Cybille is a character I read in "The Vampire Armand". Yvette and Kirsten are names of friends I have. Michelle just came out in my head. And Angelique is my frenchified version of our maternal grandma's name (for your info, her's was Angelic).

mum has always pronounced it angelique so I guess I thought it was spelt that way...didn't know angelic was a name, but then I didn't know christ was either!!

OK, so if you remember my english name is Kirstin, and the main problem i have with it is that NO BODY can pronounce it!!! lol

Everyone insists on "correcting" my spelling and pronouncing/writing it as Christine...Kristin...Kristine...etc.
They even do it on my credit cards, bills, and mail.
Annoying, but ah well!

C'est la vie!

thats weird, you should move to the uk, nobody would get it wrong. You should try having the surname welensky! Nobody pronounces or spells it correctly which is why I am still after nearly 2 yrs of marriage debating on whether to take it or not....

Well. As per the Kirstin thing, seriously its a beautiful name and anyone who mixes it up with anything else is just really disturbed. Perhaps dyslexic?

I just saw this new name from the book I'm reading currently, Nessarose. Very nice, and shortened its Nessa. Quite a sweet name.

Or Vanessa. I knew a Vanessa once, very sexy beautiful girl. So anyone with that name would give me the same impression. Kewl!
