This sort of stuff makes me (I work with dead animals constantly) very uncomfortable. While I am against the use of fur, I too have been harassed just because people take sites like these too far :( No one in my job has -ever- killed an animal, and sure we do taxidermy every now and then, and we set up the bones and whatmore. But our dead animals (and dead humans) come from vet's, died of natural causes etc.

I too am against this current trend, but I don't wish to speak my mind because I know I'll be harassed. Always two sides to a story etc etc :P I cannot imagine making a cute plushie out of a dead animal though. Using fur on a plushie...ok. If the animal was not specifically killed for its fur. But an actual dead thing as a plushie? wth. There is nothing cuddly or cute about the animals I pull out of our freezers...

(Sorry for the mindless ramble, it's just something that touches me and my job ;))

Its nothing against your job.

I just do not agree with the use of real fur on pluchies or fursuits.

I didn't know where whas a booming business with real fur on pluchies untill yesterday and i cannot agree with it.
The bad this is that there are furs out there that buy these pluchies.

How can they call themself furry's and say they love animal's while they bought those pluchies knowing that 99% of the fur on those pluchies was gained by killing animals.

Now this may sound okey for you but as you can also read on the website this is a exception instead of the regular thing.
Even then why would i want that fur on a pluchie i have in my room? i don't see any cuteness or what so ever about it.

I know it's nothing against my job :P But like I said, people often take things too far, that is why I'm not a fan of these sites. I am just...I had bad experiences and I'll leave it at that.
