Obama in the White House! Dems control Senate (56-40!) Dems control House (251-173) Dems take control of both the Senate and Assembly in Wisconsin for the first time since I was 6.
NO worries, I'm not the slightest bit offendeddreback72November 7 2008, 21:03:45 UTC
I apologize as well.
I just think that the sources that you have quoted are using rather strong language.
They should also check their math a little in my opinion, but I digress.
Remember when the 2006 midterm elections swung to the democratic side of things? All the polls recently show that the average person's approval of congress is lower than "dub-ya's".
LOWER THAN "DUB-YA'S".
Kind of scary.
When you have the majority/are in chage sometimes you un-fairly get a big fat target on your back/forehead.

BIG Difference!!!
If they had 60 seats they would almost have "control" of the senate.
They also have less than a 60% majority in the house as well.
I tend to run moderate on fiscal things but liberal on social issues.
I don't want to to complete democratic "control", the public will back lash
during the mid-term elections.
Let's hope that Obama stays centrist enough financially and keeps his broad
appeal so he isn't a one-termer.
That is my 2 cents.
I am, of course, glad for the switch back to a democratic president.

For the record: MUCH can be done with a simple majority.
