well, i haven't posted in a while. i just wanted to let you know that i went and bought myself a laptop, not an expensive one, but a decent one. it only has a 40 gig harddrive, but once i buy an external harddrive with a 120 gigs, it will be all good

I just bought FF XII two days ago (because I was complaining how Final Fantasys don't come out for computer any more, and my friend pointed out that I'm living in a house with a Play Station 2). Everything you said is true. The battle system is so much better, I think. You don't go into separate battle screens, so if you don't want to battle, you can avoid monsters or just run by them, and if you do want to fight, you can see what they are before you run up and attack. (they also have "gambits" an upgradeable system where you set up a prioritized list of actions each character will do when you're not telling them what to do). And the leveling system? It doesn't look to exciting, but it's pretty amazing. Any character can learn any ability with an equal amount of ease. The game has been an absolute blast so far

Googling isn't the greatest idea. Thats probably the best way to fill your computer with spyware and the works. I'd go with with Matt said and get torrenting. The two best clients of choice are uTorrent and Azureus. They're essentially the same program, just Azureus is Java based, so it uses more system resources.

There is a plethora of sites that you can visit, but I'd stick with Matt's suggestion and go to the pirate bay. I believe Demonoid is accepting people now, so you can also go go http://www.demonoid.com. The thing about Demonoid though is that you have to maintain a certain share ratio
