Tutorial: Natalie So Strong

First take an image like this one and crop it like so.




Then put this gradient on it, then flip it and multiply.



Then put in a new layer and colour it #000040, then set it to exclusion. It should look like this.



Add this gradient and set to multiply.



Now take this gradient and put it seperatly to the image. Now put a new layer on it and colour it #847953. Now put it on the icon and set it to soft light.




Without merginging the image, copy it merged, then paste it on Normal, Opacity 38 and then cut away everything that is over the main image. It should look like this.




Now put on this text brush set to mulitply.




Now duplicate the exclusion layer from earlier and set over the image. The erase the top half of it using cropping on feather 10. It should now look something like this.




Is everything positioned how you want it? If not, fix it. I changed where the text was. Merge all layers and duplicate. Set the duplicate to screen, 60% opacity.



Viola! You're done.
