There should be NO debate on the OS. Go 64-bit. You're getting 6GB of RAM, if you want to actually use more than half of it you will need a 64 bit OS. On top of the extra RAM goodness, it's minutely faster, and FAR more secure as far as viruses and trojans go. Make sure you get the Windows 7 upgrade coupon or however it goes though, because Windows 7 is the bee's knees compared to Vista. It's like, Vista is an alpha version of Windows 7; even using the public beta of Win7 has been a more enjoyable and capable experience than Vista ( ... )

Thanks for the feedback man. I'm a bit out of touch with the newer tech so its good to hear about some of the latest and greatest gear out there.

I'll definitely look into your suggestions.
