I will just say it.

I find that Joss Whedon has become predictable and almost unoriginal. It is sad that I can almost tell his stories as he does.

That is really sad :( Is this to do with the Buffy comic book?

I would hope not, because Drew Goddard is writing the current arc. Maybe it has to do with Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men?

Some of it has to do with Buffy, Serenity is in there and Giant-Size Astonishing X-men.

The man telegraphs his relationship issues like a neon sign.

Oh? What brings this one? (if it's re: Astonishing, I totally disagree you.. although SUPER obvious, it was the direction the book's been on from issue 1)

Part of it is Astonishing. There were some surprises, but Kitty/Peter and Emma/Scott and Beast and what's her name, called it. Same as he has done in just about every other aspect.

Beast and What's her name might as well be Anya/Xander or Kaylee/Simon.

The fate of Kitty/Peter is Buffy/Angel, Angel/Cordy, Zoe/Wash, Anya/Xander, and the list goes on.

And then he did it in Buffy the comic... again.

And Giles/Armor.. err Wolverine/Buffy.. err Wolverine/Armor...

To be fair, Wolverine befriends every little girl he finds (see Shadowcat, Jubilee, Yukio...hell, even robot Wolvie/Albert had Elsie Dee).

Wolverine: "I'm the best at what I do. And that is macking on your daughter!"

I just assume anyone in a happy relationship is going to die if Joss Whedon's involved.

Boy's got issues.

"Every happy relationship is boring and must end" seriously does get tired after a while. It turns everything into a soap opera.
