But this whole no tomatoes thing at restaurants is a godsend!

I'll eat damn near anything, but tomato texture triggers some primitive panic response. They feel like giant eyeballs.

Tomatoes make up 30% of the volume of a vegetarian sandwich, so consequently I felt cheated when I picked up a 30% lighter sandwich the other day.

(Actually here in California we still have 'em around, local grown and whatnot.)
