I remember that quote. :-D Hurrah for broken English, lol, he sounds sincere though. Class that you've got some pictures of the holiday up now, people can see. :-) That is a really nice piece of music, too, I've always liked the music in that game, it's very well done.

The music in this game is very beautiful, yes, all of it. Just found MIDI tracks of Vivaldi's Four Seasons pieces to listen to to see what might've inspired the Venture Arctic composer, and I've got to say, there's quite a lot in the Venture Arctic piece that is original, given the hardship shown in the game. I LOVE how original the music is now that I've had a taste of the predecessor. Really wonderful.

And yes it is about time I got the pictures up, heh, I shouldn't be so lazy.

Yeah, the original Four Seasons was okay for a classical piece, but I'm not that great a fan of classical music, Venture Arctic takes it and makes it almost like a modern style orchestral. The spring theme still has to be my favourite, it's just so lively and bouncy. :-)

Always glad to hear that somebody visited my site back in the heyday when it was still living, and thriving. That makes me happy. :-) I feel bad for having stopped the updates to it, but as I grew to have less time and moved off to go to university, I knew it was going to suffer. Maybe one day I'll recreate it and give it a new home... because I wouldn't want to see it go down like that either. Unfortunately I have a few years left of uncertainty where I'm floating on a log in a raging river before I can make that decision for sure...

Oh, and the English reception, we have no idea when that is yet, we're still trying to figure out when it is that we can expect me to be in the UK, with the visa application process and all that... but we'll let you know as soon as we know the details!!

When you learn Spanish in a place like New Jersey it feels really good to be able to go to the home of Spanish and talk to random people. ^_^ Lots of fun.
