Now that I'm not a student anymore...

...I can say stuff like "Back in the day when I used to go to college." :-D

Yeah, it's good not having to attend Rutgers anymore. (Well, other than for my graduation ceremony, but I can live with that, *lol*)

Hey well done White, I know times were hard and it wasn't exactly where you wanted to be but good on you for sticking it out and going for it. Congratulations and felicitations!

Thanks AC, yes, it was a bit of a slog at times and I didn't want to be there, but it was the best decision I could make considering my situation. Now that I've put four years behind me I see that it's worth it to bear through. A diploma is a diploma no matter where you go, after all. :-)

Thanks Euro! It's been a long time but it's finally happened. Another chapter of my life closed, and now the story becomes much more open-ended...

Hey Beo! Thanks. *Hugs* It was worth it just for this moment, to say that I've done it. When I can hold my diploma in my hands it'll feel even more real, but this feels pretty good too.

Yes, indeed. ^_^ It feels so good to finally be finished with it. Four years is long enough for me, *lol*. But yes it has totally been worth it. Just to say that I've done it, survived. Thanks for the congrats. :-) We'll talk soon.

Hey WP! I sure don't see *you* anymore... you've mostly disappeared from the online scene, it seems. Of course, I'm not all that frequent either so we could be just missing each other. If you're on YM or AIM give me a shout, I'm usually invisible on YM. We can catch up. Thanks, too! It's totally been worth it, after the four years of work, to see it culminate like this... I think it was an experience for my parents, too, because I'm the first in my family to graduate from a university. They definitely seemed moved by it, in their own way.

I am usually just lurking about... I don't really sign in to any of the messengers anymore (Though I will be around invisible on YM and such from time to time) and to say I have disappeared from the online scene is fairly accurate. I wish I could say my absence meant things were going well, but unfortunately it hasn't. x_x;

But no sense in bringing any negativity to the table, as your graduation marks a solid and wonderful point! The first in your family to graduate from a university is definitely an achievement that you can reflect on with a great sense of accomplishment. *Nod*

I hope this is just the first step to a long and happy future for you!
