Immediately I shut up--criticism can really stop you. Listening to good criticism of yourself makes all the difference. Only if it is good, though. Good meaning that it sounds like the words you wanted to tell yourself but couldn't because of your moronic neurosis and self-proclamations that for no good reason you do not want to violate. Man, you and death, but I understand cause I have been thinking about it too(been thinking about way too many things lately).
I think that you have to just live life, one day at a time, focusing on following steps ttowards whatever long term goals you mught have for example: Getting college degree, reading tons of great boooks, Meeting and toching king Chili (ok that one i made up ) <<<---I think that's what life is about, enjoying, seeign the good without forcing a positive bullshit answer...you know better how much I hate people who go around preeching the world is happy and pure..cause it is not, it can be a giant turd! but it can be good when you dont think about certain things, but what do I know (NOTHING NIGGA< niGGA NO MO'E ( ... )

Aw christ, I thought that my post was less about death than most of my other ones. I do not see thoughts about death going away, though, as like the crazy Frenchman Montaigne I also believe that "death is easiest for those who during their lives have given it most thought, as though always to be prepared for its imminence." But I agree with you. I have heard people telling me to accept death many times and I think it's finally coming to that point, or at least to the point where I can focus more on my secular, wordily pursuits without feeling held back by not having enough life to accomplish the things I want to accomplish. It seems that my life will always be somewhat incomplete--there will always be things I will have wanted to do--but if I can at least focus on all the things you listed (especially touching the king) it seems that if I pick the correct activities I will feel good about life, and feel accomplished like after a good workout or after reading a good novel or after discovering a new song and learning how to play it ( ... )

yea, well, your post wasnt all about death, but yea you do think about death and try to understand it more than the average person( well, at least more than me)
Anyway, just do the things you love and try your best at all, always do your best (being the best guitarist you can be, best king chili fan, best boyfriend, best colored memberof the negro league of extraordinary colored folk etc :^P)
and yes, always have a watermelon or at least a bucket of chicken near you to make life smile at you
