I like doing technical support in an office environment, like I was doing at KCG.

I'm still at Walmart for now. Hoping to find something better, just not a lot of opportunities in my chosen field around the area.

it's funny how different we end up as we grow into this adulthood thing. honestly, i can not imagine that anyone's true love for their life would be technical support. i enjoyed it enough. i liked the billing more than anything. the technical stuff, no way. i faked my way through that. it went something like this

Well, for me, Technical support is about helping people and I enjoy being able to help people with technical problems. I think it's the easiest and most satisfying way to help someone, especially if they learn something new. Since I'm into techy nerdy stuff anyway, it's a good fit for me.

As for the specific kind you mentioned, over the phone, that's ok, but I meant more as an IT guy like I was at KCG, I didn't do phone calls all day, it was more "fix my email, route this network interface for me, build an application that we need." and so on. That's the kind of technical support I love doing, although I don't mind doing over the phone technical support.

And I'm a big fan of food too, but more so the eating part. I enjoy cooking a few things, but I hardly experiment. I think you do some really cool stuff, and you should totally post more pics of the great food like you did a while back on FB.
