So I've been fencing saber for a little bit and decided to enter my second saber tournament. Last time i ended up fencing the olympic bronze medalist for womens saber. this time i won the competition and won my B in saber. For my birthday i received tickets to a gabriel iglesias show. for those who know me, I am difficult to get to laugh. Last night I had trouble breathing form laughter. fun times.

The first thing my kid said on fathers day was da da. First time he's said it. Serendipitous I suppose.

Hmm. Yup. that says it all. glad theres always a bucket close.

So there it is. the big day. Cleaning day is the next day, sure to be less fun. If anyone wants to help with either one, let me know and I can provide details.

sadly it all occurs during the weekend of Sakuracon. I preregistered for it forever ago, so even if i ditch it, only out $40... but lets hope i get to go to some of it...

and moving fridges by ones self= unexpected damage to home, and self. looks like i get to be handy already.

how sad is it that acquiring the american dream involves saddling oneself with $350 k+ in debt for a home purchase. well. heres to being being a landowning male. if only I were 100% white and protestant. I'd have been able to id with some ancestors or something.

I fenced saber this weekend. I drew Rebecca Ward for my last bout. Shes only number one in the world for womens saber and representing the US in China this Beijing this year. What she was doing at a local competition was anyones guess... but I didn't get completely schooled. So thats good. Tied for highest number of touches on her by anyone during ( Read more... )

the drive door on my 360 is malfunctioning.  It's sick, so i have to send it away like a leper to a colony. No rockband for us for a while :/
