So, I'm going to Austin City Limits and am having a hard time trying to decide who I should try to see when the schedules compete. What do you guys think?
Oh man!!! I can't really officially vote because I hardly know any of these people's music, but I would go see Robert Plant, definitely! I AM A GOLDEN GOD!!!!! ..... but then again, seeing Beck would be pretty cool, too!
.......
But if you go see Robert Plant, make sure you get a picture with him or something, and then I can brag to my friends. ;)
Hehehe, I'll be sure to try to!! I mean, I'd love to meet Robert Plant, of course!! But you're right... it's such a hard decision... like, I'd just as much love to meet Beck, I think o_0
But if I get a picture with him, you'll be the first to know!
Some of these are fucking HARD. The Raconteurs or Gnarls Barkley? I don't know if I could choose, so I didn't vote. But oh my God, Whitney, if you don't see The Black Keys, you'll regret it forever and ever. I promise.
You know... if you don't see Gnarls Barkley, at least make a point to see Del. Because Del will roll you to the power of ten.
I'm pretty sure the Black Keys have it for me. Have you seen them live then? I didn't realize that their shows were that good, but if you so swear by them, then I'm willing to stand by it :)
The Del/Jamie choice is a hard one too. But Del also has your vote?? That's a pretty big swayer there for me!
Okay dude, these are hard decisions. But go see Patti. Like how could you not?? I mean for reals. Also TOUGH choice on Iron and Wine or Black Keys, I pick Black Keys solely for the fact I have seen thier DVD and they KICK ASS live.
Also, hello Jack White, Raconteurs. Fuck yes. I have seen them twice and they never disappoint!! :)
That's so what I was thinking... Raconteurs = love because of Jack White who I've been dying to see for pretty much ever, soo... I think that that decision is made, even though I hate to pass up Gnarls...
There is much love for Patti from me, too... so... but there are lots of votes for Golgol Bordello. Yikes, it's hard. Some of these might definitely come down to a coin toss. But, the good news is that I'm pretty decided about the Black Keys :D
Ooh, good to know. So their Bonnroo show was good, then? I'm back and forth on the Raconteurs, but I do love Jack White, so I think that decision's kind of made for me.
You're right about Beck, although... the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss pairing is interesting and Plant is kind of a legend, so tough choice! But thanks for your votes! I know you see tons of shows so it really helps.

But seriously...i wish I could, if I was rich I'd be there.
Or at least if the show was free and not $80 a day...
