I couldn't believe it had been over a year since the last entry. We're probably not more than two more entries from the end of Genesis, though, which should lend a bit more energy to continuing.

Genesis is generally pretty easy, except for the genealogical bits. You've got lies, murder, lies, sexy fun time, lies, wrath, lies, dreams, lies about sexy fun time, famine, intrigue... I may be misremembering bits of Exodus, but I don't think there are any really serious slogs before Leviticus.
