phone tech FAIL

Ok, so on Friday the screen on my sidekick ID died. This lead to me spending about 4 hours on the phone with customer service on Saturday eventually convincing them to let me buy the google phone for a discounted but still expensive price ( Read more... )

Wow. When I got my G1 it was so easy. They just synched everything for me at the store.

Hopefully, after all this crap, you'll love it as much as I do. I call it my "magic space phone, from space", as it does everything ever & is totally sci-fi. Let me know if you have any questions about it. I've had mine since January.

Hopefully I'm on the road to having a functional phone. Once I do I'll be much less stressed out.

I'd love to hear from both of you about your G1 experiences. My phone creeps ever-closer to total hardware FAIL and part of what has kept me from replacing it is that I kind of want a smart phone, but do not want a 2-year AT&T contract, nor do I have $400 for an iPhone.

I'm not sure I have the extra $$ for a data plan either but I jsut heard from a colleague that I might be able to afford it on TMobile for just a little more than I pay now. I'm skeptical but should go check it out at a store.
