My mom's college friend has a brother who's an orthopedic surgeon in SF, so today we had a phone consult with him. He disagreed pretty much down the line with my original doctor's approach and wants me to come in immediately. So now I have a dueling doctors situation. I'm going to go see Dr Stone tomorrow. He wants me to do an MRI. He says knees

[i'll also join the chorus in saying i support the MRI move...it'll probably be easier to get additional opinions (3rd, 4th, whatever if needed) once that's done, too.]
