Getting a masters degree would probably greatly help you in finding a job... It's super expensive, but totally worth it.

Good luck with your family and Haiti! I'm super excited you wrote in here!

FYI I was just told the keyboards in this computer lab are covered with fecal matter. gross.

Good luck in Haiti! Will you be in portland friday? I might drop some stuff with you to take if you don't mind. Every rehab/organization has ... what are they called, basically a marketing person. They're the ones that keep the census up in a nursing home. They call the hospitals and let people know that we have openings and then in the mean time they go around and keep the place in check. Think of things that would make the place more marketable.. i.e yell at CNAs when they're not answering their call lights, brainstorm things that benefit the patients/residents. They get paid more than most workers cause of course they work to keep the place full. But they also are on the patients team which is cool. When they see something wrong they can take it up with the director and ask them to make the change. If a cna says anything they don't really have that call. It's not their place to find patients ( ... )
