Oh, this is simply brilliant. I love the way the language is simple but poetic, especially: She would have given up a long time ago if she had been on her own, travelling with strangers or mad men.

And the nod to Marathon; subtle and fitting for this week.

When I saw the prompt of "Flight", my brain immediately responded with "flee" and "escape" and fleeing and escaping was one of the many highlights of Barbara and Ian's tenure. :-)

Thank you for the prompt. This was fun. I can't remember the last time I wrote something this short.

Thank you! The Doctor and his Companions get locked up a lot, so I just had to use "flight" in the escaping sense. :-)
