Not tired, just finished up another round of reviewing for my final and decided to post the pictures that kept me well distracted on my study breaks :) and the fine job of sewing in all my loose hairs I did! :)
I'm very happy with how they're doing these days, would love a little more length and would love to understand how this length will come ( Read more... )

you go you little dread goddess you! :)

my god, i'm trying to get pipctures together so i can finally have a proper informational site for knot your average girl, and ooh, MY! i finally got to see how you're coming along and.. it's... so beautiful!

about the shortening -
* chemical processes, ie dying, etc, will cause shrinkage;
* between 1-2 yrs dreads tend to fatten (make good strong locks), and THEN hit a growth spurt.
* do you palm roll? it encourages smoothness (less loopy) and uniformity in size (helps them to know they should grow n' knot down instead of out)

you did a great job on you tips, on your boy, and on your friend!!!! ♥

you still in l.a.?

ohmygoodness i'm soo proud!!!!
GOOD JOB!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! *dance dance*
that girl's head was in damn good hands :D

you can totally tuck loose hairs in! it'll make the dreads tighter and stronger. you can do it either w/ the crochet hook or with a needle :)

currently i'm in san diego somewhat permanently, house hunting, and haven't been able to travel as much because of gas prices ;(

we're in the process of getting fully back on our feet, though, and i'm hoping to be up in l.a. area sometime soon.

(actually.. if you know any dread OR electrical work that needs done, we can get there faster ;))
