Avery wanted to tell Kyle about Tracey. He had been meaning to, and he'd even opened his mouth to say it several times, but he had yet to actually say it. He had a feeling that if he did, the whole thing would just disappear and go away. Being with Tracey really was too good to be true.

As he spotted Kyle in the Common Room, he let out a small sigh before going over to his best friend.

"Hey," he greeted before plopping down on the couch across from him. "You alright?"

Kyle was almost startled, but he'd know his best mate's voice from any distance away.

"Heyyy," he grinned, looking up. He was in a much better mood than he was during their last real conversation. "I'm good. Better."
